The Texas God Created

The Texas God Created shows the Providence of God in Texas
History. It is exciting to see how events developed in world
politics to remove the control of European countries from the
territory that would eventually become the United States.
The Texas God Created has been written for the
seventh/eighth grade Texas history class. It can be used as a stand
alone text for a Texas Christian history. Or, it can be used as a
supplement to any standard Texas history text to add the Christian
emphasis that is missing in a secular textbook.
The Texas God Created teaches the student that many of the
Texas founding fathers were Christians. William B. Travis' faith was
expressed through his letters from the Alamo. Learn about Sam
Houston's conversion and baptism. And, of course, the many circuit
riding preachers who bravely traveled through Texas, when the
Mexican government made it illegal to do so.
The Texas God Created will give students a different look
at Texas history. It is an approach to history that shows God is in
control. Texas has a wonderful Christian history. The Texas God
